A co-founder of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, Billy Markus, jumped to Cuban’s defense, noting that it is irritating when keyboard warriors misinterpret people’s statements.

The flagship canine currency has now fallen by a stunning -80.24 percent from its all-time high, which was reached back in May of this year.

On the other hand, Cuban points out that Dogecoin has significantly outperformed Bitcoin over the last year.

The Associated Press (AP) is introducing a #nonfungible_token (NFT) marketplace where collectors could buy tokenized pictures from the #global_news_platform.

The inaugural collection of NFTs will comprise photos of issues such as space, climate, and conflict from AP photojournalists. According to the marketplace’s website, they will be issued over multiple weeks beginning on Jan. 31 for varied costs.

The images will be minted as nonfungible tokens (NFTs) on the Ethereum layer-two scaling network Polygon. In addition to secondary transactions via debit or credit cards, the platform will also enable ETH payments.

Xooa, a blockchain infrastructure firm specializing in creating “white-label NFT marketplaces for brands and IP owners,” is establishing the marketplace.

Zach Danker-Feldman, head of marketplaces at Xooa, said the partnership will serve as a “powerful connection between the virtual world and the real world.”

It will also support the cryptocurrency wallet service MetaMask, with further cooperation with Fortmatic, Binance, and Coinbase. “Withdrawals to other marketplaces,” “social media capabilities,” “new content concepts,” and “off-chain benefits” for NFT holders are all planned as additional features in the future.
